Cleaning the exterior:

• Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth
• If the device is extremely dirty, use a mild cleaning agent or wipe the dehumidifier with a slightly damp cloth
• Never spray the device with water

Cleaning the filter:

• The filter is a life-long filter which should not need to be replaced (other than for wear and tear reasons)
• When used regularly, the filter may become clogged with dust and dirt particles
• The filter must be cleaned a minimum of every two weeks (not doing so could invalidate the units warranty)
• Please use the following steps:
• Remove the filter/combined filter and filter case
• Clean both sides of the filter with the end of a hoover or soapy water no hotter than 40 degrees celsius
• Rinse and dry completely before inserting back into the dehumidifier
